This film, edited and produced in 2024, contains footage of the Albion Motors works at Scotstoun and Yoker taken in 1961 and showing some of the processes involved in vehicle production. It has a commentary by Jim Anderson, a former employee of Albion Motors and a member of the Albion Club
About Albion Motors
Albion Motors was a Scottish automobile and commercial vehicle manufacturer. Founded in 1899, Albion Motors was purchased by Leyland Motors in 1951. Vehicles continued to be manufactured under the Albion brand until 1972. After that, they were still produced but sold under the Leyland brand.
