Can the DENZA B5 and B8 Climb Beer O’Clock Hill Without Stopping
The new 2026 DENZA B5 and DENZA B8 just tackled one of the toughest off road challenges in Australia. At Beer O’Clock Hill in Queensland, these luxury off roaders climbed a brutal 55 degree slope without stopping. Beer O’Clock Hill at The Springs Four Wheel Drive Park is famous for defeating even well built off road vehicles. During this demanding test, the DENZA B5 Leopard and DENZA B8 six seat model used their DiSus P intelligent suspension, mechanical locking differentials, and low range gearing to conquer the 100 meter climb. Engineers fitted Mickey Thompson Baja Boss all terrain tires and adjusted traction, torque, and throttle software to handle the steep rocky surface. The climb includes a difficult rock step that often causes vehicles to lose traction or stall, yet both DENZA vehicles maintained steady momentum and reached the top without hesitation. The vehicles then completed the descent, demonstrating strong control and stability on the steep downhill section. Testing like this helps DENZA refine the vehicles for real world conditions. Data collected from the test will now be analyzed by research and development teams, with possible improvements delivered later through over the air updates.
