The first model produced is the second-generation Aion V. The plant can produce 200,000 New Energy Vehicles annually, with potential for expansion. A vehicle can be produced in just 53 seconds on average. The plant supports over 100,000 customized options and is highly automated, being the first black-light factory in Hunan. The Changsha plant is Aion's third, with the other two plants having a combined capacity of 400,000 vehicles annually. GAC Aion sold 35,238 vehicles in July, down 21.74 percent year-on-year.
